United Russia Party Official Killed in Car Bomb Attack

An official from the ruling United Russia party was killed in a car bomb attack in occupied Kherson, Ukraine. Vladimir Malov, the executive secretary of the pro-Putin political party, died in the bombing. Acting governor Vladimir Saldo referred to the incident as a terrorist attack. It is unclear whether Malov was specifically targeted. This comes following a recent Russian missile strike on a Ukrainian store and cafe, as well as accusations of Russian troops using car bombings against rebel-held regions in Eastern Ukraine.
