Upcoming Film Thanksgiving Takes Horror to a Whole New Level
The upcoming film Thanksgiving takes the holiday horror genre to a whole new level. Directed by Eli Roth, the movie is based on a mock trailer that was featured in 2007’s Grindhouse.
The story is set in Plymouth, Massachusetts, following a disastrous Black Friday. In the aftermath, a Thanksgiving-themed killer goes on a rampage, terrifying the locals. As the film’s tagline states, there will be no leftovers.
The cast includes well-known actors such as Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.
From the teaser trailer, it’s clear that Thanksgiving will be a campy horror film. The real question is just how campy it will be.
Moviegoers can catch Thanksgiving in theaters on November 17th, just in time for the holiday season.
