Tesla Begins Deliveries of Cybertruck on November 30

After years of delays and redesigns, Tesla has finally announced that it will begin delivering its highly anticipated Cybertruck to select customers starting November 30. The delivery signals the start of production for the luxury EV SUV, which will be manufactured at Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory next year. Along with the announcement, it has been reported that the vehicle’s electrical architecture is being redesigned to accommodate an 800-volt standard, allowing for faster charging without compromising the vehicle’s integrity.

During an investor call, Elon Musk emphasized the challenges and complexities involved in producing and scaling up the production of the Cybertruck. However, he expressed his excitement about the realization of the product, remarking that he has personally test-driven it and found it to be an amazing vehicle. As Tesla’s production and deliveries for its existing model lines have declined this quarter, the company has continuously lowered the prices of its vehicles in an effort to increase sales volume.

Tesla is also making strides in AI development, with a significant increase in processing power dedicated to training its vehicular and Optimus robot AI systems. Additionally, the company has announced that all Hertz rentals in the US and Canada will have access to the Tesla App, allowing customers to use their phones as key fobs.
