T-Mobile Moves Customers to Newer Plans, Prompting Higher Costs

T-Mobile is notifying users on its older unlimited plans that they will be moved to its latest options, starting in November. Customers on the One, Simple Choice, Magenta, and Magenta 55 Plus plans will receive notices about the plan changes and the corresponding price increases. The migration to newer plans will result in approximately $10 more per line. However, T-Mobile is offering a $5 discount per line for customers who sign up for AutoPay. Customers who do not wish to change plans can call T-Mobile’s Customer Care to reverse the switch, although the duration of the available window and the long-term options remain unclear.
