SpaceX’s Next Starship Launch: Will it Explode Again?

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk remains optimistic, but uncertain, about the outcome of the next Starship test launch. In a recent appearance at a spaceflight convention, Musk admitted that while they believe it will work, they cannot be sure. The first Starship launch in April ended in an explosion, causing a delay in the second attempt. To prevent the same mishap, SpaceX is developing a ‘hot stage’ system that ignites the rocket’s second stage before separation from the first. While the odds may seem risky to some, Musk sees it as a decent chance of reaching orbit.
