Hasbro’s Star Wars Crowdfunder Reaches Stretch Goals, Adds More Figures to Ghost

Hasbro’s crowdfunded campaign to create a toy version of the iconic Ghost starship from Star Wars Rebels has ended successfully, garnering over 21,000 backers who pledged $500 each. Originally, the campaign aimed to reach 8,000 backers, but it surpassed that goal and even reached stretch goals of 11,000, 14,000, and 17,000 backers. As a result, the campaign will now include figures of Rebels characters Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, and Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios.

For fans of Sabine and Chopper, there is both good news and bad news. The good news is that new versions of Sabine and Chopper will be released. The bad news is that they will not be included as part of the crowdfunded campaign. Instead, backers will have the opportunity to purchase the figures at a later date. While Chopper’s head is already included in the set, it is not the same as having a proper figure of him. Additionally, the upcoming figure of Sabine will be based on her appearance in Ahsoka rather than Rebels.

The Vintage Collection Ghost model and the figures of Hera, Ezra, Kanan, and Zeb can be viewed in pictures shared by Hasbro. The estimated shipping date for the completed toy is set for fall 2024.
