22nd Annual Power Lunch to Raise Funds for Jack & Jill Center

The Friends of Jack & Jill Center are organizing the 22nd Annual Power Lunch to honor outstanding members of the South Florida community and raise money for the center. The event will take place at the First Baptist Downtown Event Center in Fort Lauderdale on September 28th.

The fundraiser is expected to attract over 250 business professionals from Broward County. The guest speaker for the event will be Caitlin Stella, MPH, CEO of Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital, and Neki Mohan, Vice President of Visit Lauderdale, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

In addition to recognizing Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Bigs in Blue, the Hudson Family Foundation, and CITY Furniture, the event will also feature awards for their outstanding dedication and contributions to Jack & Jill Center.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will support the center’s mission to empower children and families through education, programs, and community engagement. The center provides early childhood education, elementary education, family strengthening programs, and a Health Program to assist high-need working families. Ensuring that every child and family has the opportunity to succeed has been the center’s focus since its establishment in 1942. So far, they have provided support to over 26,000 children and families in South Florida.

Those interested in supporting the event can choose from various sponsorship options ranging from $250 to $15,000. Individual tickets are also available for $125. Further information and ticket purchases can be made through the Jack & Jill Center website. For sponsorship or underwriting opportunities, interested parties can contact the Director of Special Events, Jennifer Swercheck.
