Meet Ben Ashworth: A Shoulder Specialist with a Wealth of Experience

Ben Ashworth is a highly experienced shoulder specialist with over 20 years of expertise in the field. He has worked extensively with athletes as both a physio and strength coach in various performance settings.

Throughout his career, Ben has had the opportunity to work with elite rugby teams, Olympic sports in preparation for the London 2012 Games, and serve as the first team physiotherapist at Arsenal Football Club. He has also held the role of Performance Director in European football.

In addition to his professional roles, Ben runs his own Athletic Shoulder business, where he works with Major League Baseball teams and supports an NFL shoulder injury task force. He is recognized globally for his published research and expertise in athletic shoulder testing and training.

Currently pursuing a PhD at Liverpool Hope University, Ben’s research focuses on the key determinants of throwing performance and the use of a system to optimize athlete health and performance in sports with high shoulder demands.
