Group Ride Adventure in San Martin

Group Ride Adventure in San Martin

Yesterday, the group ride was led by someone else as their usual leader was unavailable. The ride followed a route that meandered through San Martin before heading up the Coyote Creek Trail to Metcalf Park. As an added surprise, the route took them past a small farm that housed alpacas and llamas. To add a bit of excitement, they took a detour up Malech road, which offered a challenging climb and rewarded them with stunning views.

Our protagonist, BionicOldGuy, decided to join the ride on his non-electric upright bike to test his abilities and keep up with the faster members of the group. Despite expecting more riders, only four speedy cyclists showed up, which resulted in a brisk pace that he found enjoyable.

BionicOldGuy, a mechanical engineer born in 1953, has always been passionate about outdoor activities and fitness. He has overcome genetic conditions with hip and heart surgeries but has never let it hinder his active lifestyle. Through this blog, he shares his adventures and shows that staying active is possible despite the obstacles.
