Spicy Remoulade Sauce

I love dipping fried shrimp in spicy cocktail sauce, but this spicy remoulade sauce takes it to the next level. With a kick of hot sauce, spicy Creole mustard, cayenne pepper, and shallots, this sauce is perfect for not only seafood but also sandwiches like po boys.

Ingredients

  1. 1 medium shallot, finely chopped
  2. 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  3. ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  4. ¾ cup mayonnaise
  5. 2 tablespoons Creole mustard
  6. 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  7. ½ medium lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a medium bowl.
  2. Whisk or stir to combine.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
