Custom Catios is renowned for its high-quality and custom-built enclosures. While there are more affordable options available, Breslauer emphasizes that those are essentially fancy cages. The majority of his clients pay between $5,000 and $15,000 for their catios, but for those looking for something more intricate and unique, prices can exceed $70,000.

Creating Cat Disneyland

For Breslauer, the challenge lies in building extravagant catios that include climbing poles, hiding boxes, cat ladders, spiral staircases, and more. He refers to these elaborate creations as ‘Cat Disneyland’ because they provide endless entertainment and stimulation for cats. The more extravagant the catio, the more attention it attracts on social media.

Pushing the Limits

Some clients have even requested catios that stretch over 120 feet, with enclosed walkways and access to the backyard, allowing the owners to interact with their cats from the hot tub. Breslauer recalls one client in Las Vegas who had a catio built near their pool and grotto, offering an exquisite feline sanctuary.
